rossie spit bridge.JPG

ROSSIE SPIT is a finger of land jutting into Montrose Bay and near a viaduct bridge.

It's not a walk as can be viewed near the roadside and is very close to the Wildlife Centre

Zipping around sky by the nesting blocks at Murton Farm, however this one posed outside its nesting hole. June 2, 2023

GOLDCREST [Regulus regulus]

Not a clear photo of this greenish ball of feathers but it shows the bright yellow head crest which gives the bird name and makes it a female as male has orange crest. Wouldn't stop for a moment and I couldn't get a shot in focus. February 11, 2024, at Murton Farm

BUZZARD [Buteo buteo]

Colour so different from other buzzard photos I have that considered this a red kite, but no, as head colour seems wrong. February 18, 2024, at Murton Farm
